Our Mission
as outlined by
Mother Catherine Aurelia Caouette
"Your mission is to catch souls in the nets of love. Spouses of the Immaculate Lamb, quench the ardor which constrains your Well-Beloved. He asks for love, He asks for souls...from His mouth, there escapes again this cry of His soul, "Sitio," "I Thirst!"
Listen to the holy aspirations which make the loving and perpetual martyrdom of my heart:
"I would like to be a "Cavalier" to carry everywhere the banner of the Cross and fight the enemies of Christ, my King."
"I would like to be a "Hunter" to hasten breathlessly over the whole world after the wandering sheep and dart on them the arrows of love.
"I would like to be a "Fire" in order that from me, as from a blazing volcano, there might escape burning lava which would consume me alive, as well as the host of souls who are united to me by the sweet bonds of love."
"I would like to be a "King" so as to adorn, with purple and gold, my Mother the Church; she who hides in her bosom my Spouse, hidden under the adorable species of the most profound of mysteries."
"I would like to be a "Flower" to absorb the fetid air spread abroad by so many corrupt hearts and to exhale towards God the fragrance of my perfume."
"I would like to be a "Hummingbird" to carry even to heaven the virginal song of my love."
"I would like to be an "Angel" to adore, a "Seraph" to love the God of love."
Do you not seem to hear the beatings of the Heart of Jesus and His sweet moanings, in seeing Him expire of love? Do you not seem to see the Blood falling drop by drop?
Pursue, love and appreciate your duties as Reparatrices; love them, yes, love them unto death, in the cross and on the cross. Love them to the extent of consenting, if necessary, to live in contempt and ignominy.
My daughters...love your mission, for it is willed by God; love your mission, for it is blessed by Heaven, love your mission, for it is formidable to hell. Spread your nets day and night to save souls, that is, pray without ceasing and immolate everything!
