Remember, O Lady of the Precious blood, the painful shedding of the Blood of thy Jesus, and thy own most bitter tears which mingled with His saving Blood. By the Blood of the Victim of our Redemption, and by thy blessed tears, by the seven swords which pierced thy soul, and which made thee co-redemptress of the human race, and Queen of Martyrs, have pity on my soul with all its miseries; have pity on all sinners, and on the innocent souls whom they endeavor to pervert; have pity on the poor, the sick the infirm, and those who are suffering from any physical, mental, spiritual or moral affliction; have pity on the agonizing, those, especially who, unless thou intercede for them, will depart this life without purifying their souls in the Blood of the Lamb....By the Blood of thy dying Son; by His unspeakable anguish; by His cruel and ignominious death; by His expiring cry to His Father in behalf of mankind, and by the perpetuity of His sacrifice on every Catholic altar, I entreat thee, with tears, not to reject but grant my petition. Amen.
