My Dear Sisters and new daughters who will be joining us at Easter,

"Now there stood by the cross of Jesus, His Mother." (John 19:25)

Holy Week is "our" week!  It is the time when the red and white procession of virgins, follow along with Mary, their Divine Spouse to Calvary.

When the time came, Jesus resolutely set His Holy Face toward Jerusalem, and went to embrace His Death, while Mary followed Him.  This was His moment, the moment for which He came into the world.  And hers, too, the moment when her longings for the redemption of men, for their deliverance from the bondage of Satan, would be fulfilled.

When the last drop of Jesus' Precious Blood had been separated from His torn and mangled body, can we fully understand the immensity of His Divine love for us?  Are we able to truly love Him with a pure love in return?  I believe our love for Jesus will fulfill the purpose of our existence, will lead us to Heaven, will comfort that Sacred Heart which so ardently desires to be loved by us. This is an essential part of our unique vocation of Adorers of the Precious Blood. 

Let us together use these forty days to imitate Mary standing below the Cross, as her sorrowful and pierced heart cried in silence: "Hail Jesus Christ, my beloved Son, reigning upon the wood of the Cross!  Hail, triumphant King, leading men to victory!  I adore You, and I adore Your Most Precious Blood which You shed for love of me!"
